Can anyone tell me what fish is this? i shoot it in portuguese waters but i think he was lost because is not usal to see it here... it didn't taste very good.

I have been searching for clues, about this species. And i got this pic from a site.
Look at this, it seems like your fish, just a little, but I cannot see the entire body

I think you're right Allan.
It seems to be a depths fish, like the scabbard fish, but with a sail on his back...

I thinking that the cold water must be the factor that send this fish to the surface............like you say........the it was lost <°(((><

the fish you just send me looks really similar but the teeth are completly diferent. our exemplar have teeth more like barracuda.. very weird fish... thanks a lot allan.
